Zqdo partnered with Prime Shrimp to implement updated typography across their storefront and provide a streamlined workflow for internal design adjustments within their Shopify theme.

The goal was to ensure the brand’s new font styling was applied accurately while giving their team the flexibility to manage future updates independently.

The Challenge

Prime Shrimp was introducing a new brand typography direction and needed technical support to properly integrate the font across their Shopify theme without disrupting existing layouts or performance.

Key needs included:

• Accurate implementation of the new font across theme components
• A safe testing environment to preview styling changes
• Clear internal documentation for ongoing adjustments

The brand wanted both immediate implementation and long-term control over typography updates.

Approach

Zqdo implemented the new font styling through a structured theme workflow designed to minimize risk while improving internal usability.

Rather than applying changes directly to the live theme, we created a preview environment that allowed stakeholders to review typography updates before deployment.

Implementation

Custom Font Integration
We added the Bison font to the Shopify theme and configured it across key typography settings to align with Prime Shrimp’s updated visual direction.

Preview Theme Build
A duplicate preview theme was created to safely demonstrate how the new typography would appear across headings, content sections, and key layout components.

This allowed the team to review styling changes without impacting the live storefront.

Client Tutorial & Documentation
To support ongoing flexibility, Zqdo recorded a step-by-step tutorial video showing how the Prime Shrimp team can adjust typography settings directly within the theme moving forward.

This ensures future updates can be handled internally without requiring additional development work.
